Leg Cramps, Restless Legs and Leg Aches Cured with A Painless Needle Stick Varicose Vein Treatment in the Office

Symptoms of venous disease, poor quality sleep and exercise intolerance reversed with a simple relatively painless needle stick varicose vein treatment.

Daniel K, a 65 year old white male, came to us with complaints of leg cramps, leg aches, leg pain at night, restless legs, difficulty standing, swelling, and prominent bulging varicose veins in his left leg. During our evaluation, we determined that Daniel’s problem excluded PAD or Peripheral Arterial Disease and blood disorders, making it likely that we could cure his varicose veins through our simple, quick, painless and minimally invasive office procedures. Besides prominent varicose veins, moderate edema or swelling, we noted that venous stasis changes were present. This included early hemosiderosis on the inside of his left ankle, a brownish discoloration from increased pressure in his venous system causing blood to leak out into the tissues. He also had some skin inflammation and a localized dermatitis skin rash – common symptoms of venous hypertension (high blood pressure) and venous stasis where blood accumulates and interferes with the normal exchange of nutrients and wastes.

It appeared from Daniel’s history and physical that his varicose veins were secondary to an underlying condition caused by damaged one-way valves in his deep veins called chronic venous insufficiency or CVI. We proceeded to perform an ultrasound evaluation using our customized equipment that is highly accurate in detecting the exact areas of pathology. During this painless diagnostic vein ultrasound procedure, we determined that Daniel’s problem was due to incompetence of his left venous perforator vein and great/small saphenous vein systems. Daniel underwent varicose vein treatment in our comfortable state-of-the-art office vein center. During his procedures, he remained awake without any pain. Following a short recovery, Daniel was very pleased with the results. His left leg varicose veins, venous disease and associated venous stasis symptoms were successfully eliminated.
